Charles Manson’s Grandson Is Getting His Body, 4 Months After His Death

This week, it was ruled that Charles Manson’s body will be given to his grandson Jason Freeman, nearly four months after the serial killer conspirator died. Charles died in November at 83.

Jason will be responsible for his funeral and burial, according to Bakersfield.com. The oil rig worker told People magazine in November that he has long believed he is Manson’s grandson, though the magazine was unable to verify the relationship.

“He kept asking me what I wanted. ‘What do you want from me?’ I said, ‘I just want to get to know my grandfather,” Jason recalled one conversation with Charles.

Manson was responsible for the two-day murder spree that took place in August 1969, when his followers, known as “the Manson family,” killed seven people including pregnant actress Sharon Tate.
