This Is How You Can Watch The Oscars If You Don’t Have Cable…

Let’s face it. Millennials aren’t exactly buying premium cable packages by the truck load. We all have our laptops, and are totally fine with it! So we thought we’d help a boo out.

The Academy Awards air tonight on ABC, and the event starts with the red carpet at 5pm ET, followed by the official awards ceremony at 8pm. Thankfully it’s on a network, so if you have a TV and proper antenna, you’d be able to watch it without a cable subscription. But just in case you don’t have it, here’s where you should go.

Facebook

A live stream of the event will kick off at 6:30pm ET on both The Academy’s and ABC Television’s Facebook pages.

Websites

Both Oscar.com and ABCNews.com will also carry the same live stream that’s being broadcast on Facebook. You can access either using any browser.

Hulu

Hulu will also be streaming the Oscars on Hulu Live. You can sign up for a free trial. If the show runs late and you gotta go to bed, you can catch a recording of the entire show on Monday on Hulu proper.

TV Services

You can catch this year’s award show using Sling TV, YouTube TV, PlayStation Vue, and DirecTV Now. All of those have monthly subscription fees associated with them, but also offer free trial options you can use to catch the show.
