After Variety reported the story of a woman accusing Ryan Seacrest of sexual harassment, E! apparently had crisis meetings over his ability to cover the Oscars. According to Page Six, multiple publicists will be steering their stars away from Ryan on the red carpet.

Ryan has denied all of the accusations.

Producers are apparently making sure there will be no surprise “Debra Messing moments this time round,” referring to the Golden Globes red-carpet incident Debra insulted E! for its handling of ex-host Catt Sadler’s departure over an equal-pay dispute.
