Don Lemon’s sister Leisa Lemon drowned in Louisiana a few weeks ago at the age of 58, and the anchor recently opened up to Page Six about their relationship.

“I have strong females in my life,” he said. “They are already superheroes, my mom [Katherine Clark], my sister that just passed . . . I have been taken care of by women with superhero traits all my life. I am happy they are on the screen, but it is nothing that black women haven’t been doing forever.”
