Allison Janney is nominated for an Oscar for I, Tonya, and the actress told People she won’t be leaving the house without her good luck charm, which was given to her by her good friend I, Tonya screenwriter Steven Rogers.

“I’ve known him a long time,” she says. “Whenever I was doing a performance he would always say, to me ‘sparkle peanut’ and years ago he gave me a tiny, silver peanut. So I’m gonna have that in my purse.”

After seven Emmys, six SAG awards, and one Golden Globe, it looks like her good luck charm is working.

“My favorite memory of watching the Oscars, has always been seeing whatever Cher would wear,” she says. “That was always so fun to look forward to because she was so outrageous and I loved it.”
