OK, so Adam Rippon (the gay figure skater who is basically showing the world how it’s done) and Reese Witherspoon (beloved actress, of all time ever) are slowly becoming best friends on social media and we literally can’t wait for them to meet in person.

It began last week when Reese tweeted that Adam was the #1 reason to watch the Games. He immediately responded suggesting they co-star in a movie together.

Even the NBC Olympics, yes the actual Olympics, wrote on social media, “So, @RWitherspoon, did @Adaripp make you proud?”

Basically the whole world is trying to make this happen, and it’s working! Oh please please please!
