James Franco’s former high school had displayed his art in their hallways, but now they removed it following his multitude of sexual harassment allegations.

Removing the artwork from Palo Alto High School is “in the best interests of our students in light of our educational mission,” Superintendent Karen Hendricks said Thursday in a statement.

The school’s newspaper reported that the allegations were the reason why artwork was removed. Since graduating in 1996, James’s art was been featured prominently.

“These are still allegations,” Palo Alto High School principal Kim Diorio was quoted as saying. “He’s denied those allegations and hasn’t been charged with a crime.”
