Georgina Chapman Cancels Marchesa’s Fashion Week Runway Show
Apparently Georgina Chapman isn’t ready for a big comeback. Harvey Weinstein’s estranged wife was supposed to walk in New York’s Fashion Week on February 14 with her line Marchesa, but it was just announced that the show will do a digital presentation instead.
“Georgina couldn’t go through with it,” says an NYFW vet. “She was too scared.”
“They were gung-ho . . . but as they got closer, she choked,” said Navia Vision.
A spokesperson for Marchesa tells The Post, “Marchesa is looking forward to presenting their Fall ’18 collection in an updated format this season.”
