It’s now revealed that Michelle Obama will sit down with Ellen DeGeneres in her first interview after she left the White House.

The announcement came from the show, and the First Lady’s appearance comes on the first of Ellen’s two birthday-themed shows, featuring people who are “paying it forward.”

Penguin Random House announced last year that it had acquired world publication rights for a Michelle Obama memoir. No publication date was announced.
