The SAG Awards This Year Will Be Undoubtedly FEMALE!
The Screen Actors Guild Awards are always super fun, and this year it will be unlike any in its history. It will be led and run entirely by women.
The show will feature a roster of almost all female presenters, Kristen Bell as its inaugural host, and an opening that will feature only actresses speaking about their craft.
The change was inspired by last year’s Women’s March, according to producers, as well as the Time’s Up and Me Too movements to address gender inequality, sexual misconduct, pay disparities and other issues.
Kristen is the perfect FIRST host of the SAG awards, and something tells us she’ll be a favorite for years to come.
