James Franco Still Showed Up To The SAG Awards

People were definitely waiting to see what was going to happen with James Franco and the SAG Awards after he was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.

Turns out, the actor did show up — though you might not have seen him. He had skipped the Critics’ Choice Awards before, as well as the SAG Awards red carpet. But photographers found him in the show. The actor was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role for The Disaster Artist.

Franco’s attorney disputed the women’s accounts to the LA Times.

The actor also told Stephen Colbert: “Look, in my life I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done,” he told Colbert. “I have to do that to maintain my well-being. The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate. But I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice because they didn’t have a voice for so long. So I don’t want to shut them down in any way.”
