Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard are pretty much what couple goals are made of. Kristen will soon be the first ever host of the Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 21, and she couldn’t help but rave of her husband’s support.

“He doesn’t really give out pointers or advice so much as he gives out unending support, which is very nice,” she said to People. She adds that living with a writer is “very helpful” because “you can sort of whisper things in their ear as they’re falling asleep.”

“I’m like, ‘Is this funny?’” she quipped. “There will still be men there obviously, but there will be a much better balance. And I think that’s in direct response to these winds of change that are happening where women are having a moment [and] a lot of them who haven’t had a voice are finding their voice.”
