Catt Sadler On Being A Hot Topic At E!’s Red Carpet At The Golden Globes

Catt Sadler recently quit her position at E! News when she learned that she was making less than half compared to her counterpart’s salary, who is a man.

Celebrities vowed to call out the E! network last night on the red carpet, and they certainly did.

Amy Schumer posted on social media: “If you’re on the carpet tonight or at home post in support and ask @eentertainment what happened?” adding, “We thought you would be for pay equality and say #imwithcattsad @iamcattsadler.”

Debra Messing told E!’s Giuliana Rancic: “Time is up and we want diversity, we want intersectional gender parity, we want equal pay,” adding, “I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts.”

Eva Longoria spoke to E!’s Ryan Seacrest about it as well, and Brie Larson tweeted: “We stand with you @IAmCattSadler – equal pay for equal work! #TIMESUP#WhyWeWearBlack.” Julianne Moore spoke out on social media as well.

Catt Sadler spoke to Page Six about the voices on the red carpet, saying: “I am immensely grateful for the outpouring of support today. Thank you to Amy, Debra, Eva, Brie, Julianne and so many more women using their voices on behalf of us all.”

A little straight talk on @eentertainment . #TIMESUP
