Liev Schreiber Gets Personal About His Split from Naomi Watts
It’s only been a year since Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts broke off their 11-year relationship, leading to a vast adjustment on both parties. In a new interview with Today, Liev gets personal about life after Naomi.
“It’s always hard, you know? You build a life with someone and things change,” he said. “And I think the way that we’ve looked at it is that we’ll always be partners with these kids.”
“It’s important to support each other,” he said. “I was making some jokes at breakfast about Mommy with the boys and their eyes light up when I talk about her. You can see how important it is to them that their parents care about each other.”
They’ve since continued to coparent their two kids: Alexander (Sasha) Pete Schreiber, 9, and Samuel Kai Schreiber, 8. Together, they still try to make life tolerable for the children.
