The story of Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan has resurfaced thanks to the new movie I, Tonya. In the trailer for a two-hour special on ABC, Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story, she opens up about that epic scandal.

“Nobody ever wanted to believe me,” she says. “I’m always the bad person and I never understood that.”

On the attack, she added: “I knew that something was up.”

“I did however overhear them talking about stuff where, ‘Well maybe we should take somebody out so we can make sure she gets on the team,'” she says in the trailer. “I go, ‘What the hell are you talking about?'”
