JetBlue Lands Ahead Of Schedule, Thanks To Ryan Seacrest

JetBlue was kind enough to land ahead of schedule thanks to a competition winner who was on board named Katie Roberts, who was expected to meet Ryan Seacrest in New York City for New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Katie had won a competition to attend the annual event, and according to Page Six, the pilot got on the intercom mid-flight to say that the plane would land ahead of schedule, which may have delayed a few other flights at JFK given that air-control had given the Airbus A321 “priority handling.”

But don’t worry… fellow flyers gave Katie a round of applause and didn’t seem too bothered by the change.

Interestingly enough, no one at Ryan Seacrest’s camp knew of this person: “No one involved with [“New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”] that we checked with is aware of this person or any related promotion,” a rep said to Page Six.
