Would You Buy This Circumcision Training Kit From Amazon?
People are freaking out after Amazon put a circumcision training kit on their online shopping store for $200, labeling it an “infant circumcision trainer” so parents can know more about the procedure.
“Great for nursing and therapy students,” the listing reads. At a whopping $200, that’s quite the education.
The kit has been taken off the United Kingdom’s Amazon site, but is still available in the United States.
“We fear that the sale of this product may encourage unqualified practitioners to carry out unnecessary surgery on infants in non-clinical conditions, resulting in serious harm,” Dr. Anthony Lempert wrote in a letter to Amazon.
