Matt Damon has been opening his mouth a lot lately about the issues surrounding harassment and assault — which many say are tone deaf. Currently, an online petition is calling for the removal of his cameo from the upcoming Ocean’s 8 film.

The petition has nearly 20,000 signatures thus far, and it reads: “Damon’s inclusion would trivialize the serious nature of the charges against sexual abusers like Weinstein — a show massive disrespect for the brave women speaking out.”

Matt had previously said in an interview with ABC News: “There’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right? Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated, without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated, right?”
