Jimmy Buffett Gave Out Burgers at ‘Margaritaville’ Box Office!
When you have a hit wonder that turns into a Broadway musical, Escape To Margaritaville, you show your gratitude not only by showing up, but not coming empty-handed.
Jimmy Buffett showed up in Times Square last night with 500 cheeseburgers in hand, and handed them out to fans as an homage to his other hit sing “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”
He also “posed for nearly as many selfies,” a source told Page SIx.
It was a very cold night in New York City, but the owner of the Nederlander theater said he and Jimmy will return soon to do a “cheeseburger cookout” when the show officially opens in the spring.
