Recreational Weed In Los Angeles Will Soon Be Legal!
Los Angeles will soon become the largest city in the United States to legalize the buying and selling of recreational marijuana, thanks to a vote by the LA City Council this week.
The statewide law to legalize marijuana in California begins January 2018.
On January 1, other cities like San Francisco and San Jose will also permit recreational cannabis sales from licensed businesses.
The regulations passed by the L.A. City Council prohibit the sale of weed in residential neighborhoods and within a 700-foot buffer zone surrounding schools, libraries, and parks.
