John Mayer Hospitalized for Emergency Appendectomy
John Mayer was scheduled to perform with Dead & Company (a group consisting of Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kresutzmann, and Bob Weir) this week, but it was canceled when he had to go to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
The group announced the news on Twitter:
No word yet on whether Mayer will be able to join them for the rest of the tour, which wraps Feb. 18 in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed.
