Ed Sheeran Would Play Meghan & Prince Harry’s First Dance, If They Ask
If you’re planning a royal wedding, it’s always nice to get some of the best talent in the world — and Ed Sheeran is definitely one of them.
The Grammy winner received an MBE, which signifies he’s a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, so in a way, he’s kinda-sorta in the royal clique.
Reporters asked him if he’d be down for the gig and Ed said, “Yeah, why not?!”
“Do you know what I love, my grandfather was a massive royalist, he had all the commemorative plates and stuff, and he died on this day four years ago, so it’s actually quite a nice full circle thing, I guess he’d be pretty proud,” he told reporters after being rewarded the honor.
