For 20 years, Matt Lauer was the golden boy at NBC, but after multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct surfaced, he’s been ousted — and the network doesn’t have a Plan B.
Insiders told Page Six that Matt was so ruthless in maintaining his top spot that, “Matt killed off, in their infancy, every man who could succeed him at the time that he was ready to hang it up — so there’s nobody to take his place. And now NBC is paying the price.”
