Rose McGowan is pleading not guilty to a felony drug charge, saying that the cocaine that led to her arrest was likely planted.

The actress was released on a $5,000 bond after turning herself in on Tuesday. The charges came after an airport employee allegedly found the actress’s wallet with two bags of white powder inside, which police say was cocaine. The incident happened this summer.

“I had it in the side pocket of my backpack, and I left it on my seat as I went to the bathroom,” she told Ronan Farrow in an interview. Her wallet then went missing, and she tweeted United to help her find it.

After the warrant was issued, she didnt turn herself in immediately. “I was going to ASAP but then things started to get really weird. I knew I was being followed and that I wasn’t safe.”

“I will clearly plead not guilty,” she said.
