The Queen Was Seen Crying During Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Queen watched the annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony from a balcony for the first time. The remembrance honors those the nation lost in war.
Breaking royal tradition, the Queen asked her eldest son to lay her wreath at the Cenotaph memorial this year. She was seen wiping away a tear during the ceremony.
Even though she has missed services in previous years, this was the first time the Queen was present at the ceremony where she did not lay a wreath herself.
‘At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We Will Remember Them.’
