Amy Schumer’s Broadway debut in Steve Martin’s new play Meteor Shower begins previews November1, and this weekend her dad paid a special visit to the stage to see his daughter in action.

“@meteorshowerbwy previews begin next week,” she wrote in the caption. “My dad came to watch rehearsal yesterday and loved it so the important reviews are in!”

Amy revealed last year that she bought back her family’s farm after they lost it in bankruptcy when she was only 12.
