Disney Star Uriah Shelton Hit With Restraining Order After Kicking Woman in Stomach
20-year-old Uriah Shelton (Girl Meets World, 13 Reasons Why) is accused of kicking a friend in the stomach after they got into an argument, according to People.
The altercation ultimately ended with a restraining order against Uriah.
“I was standing in the way of his truck door [and] he kicked me in the stomach to get me out of the way,” the woman, who describes herself as his former best friend, said in court documents. She also says Uriah is an “MMA fighter who competed [and] has won titles.”
The incident led to “abdominal and chest trauma, internal muscle bruising, [and] inflamed intestines,” she claims.
The judge ordered him to stay 100 yards away from her, and a rep for Uriah said that he would “never harm another person.”
“Realize what your actions and words do to other people,” Uriah said to Just Jared. “Once you do realize the effect they have on others, don’t use them for the wrong reason,” she said. “Don’t manipulate, abuse, or hurt anyone with them. And if you do accidentally hurt someone, make things right with them.”
