Being single can be very beneficial if you’re life is busy as hell. Katy Perry knows!

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer boasted that her single life is the reason why she has time to cohost American Idol while also leading her world tour.

“I’m a bit younger in heart! I’m a bit more mature…single!” she laughed. “You know, when you’re single, you got a lot of time to yourself and a lot of energy, and I’m just finding a delicate balance.”

Katy is definitely taking her $20-something million paycheck for a ride!
