This could be the end for Hollywood’s most powerful production companies, Weinstein Company.

In 2015, the company was alerted of Harvey Weinstein’s cash settlements he’d made to women as hush money. Harvey’s lawyer told The New York Times that when his contract was up in 2015, the company knew of three or four settlements — at least.

The company has been saying they were unaware of Harvey’s misconduct, and on Tuesday, Bob Weinstein told employees they were shocked at the allegations and were unaware of such payments.  But board member Lance Maerov, who handled the contract talks, acknowledged in an interview that he had been informed of settlements.
