Donna Karan Say She’s Sorry For Initially Blaming Harvey Weinstein’s Victims
Fashion mogul Donna Karan is coming out saying she’s sorry after praising Harvey Weinstein on a red carpet over the weekend, saying he’s done “amazing things” and he and his wife were “wonderful people,” reports The Daily Mail.
Donna added that some women were asking for “Trouble” by the way they dress and “presenting themselves the way they do.” Clearly she was insinuating that some might be asking to be assaulted… hmm…
But Donna is taking it back in a statement released yesterday, saying her remarks were taken out of context. She believes “sexual harassment is NOT acceptable and this is an issue that MUST be addressed once and for all regardless of the individual.”
She also said she’s “truly sorry to anyone that I offended and everyone that has ever been a victim.”
