You’re Going to Die When You See Julianne Moore’s NYC Townhouse

What’s not to love about Julianne Moore? She’s talented, beautiful, and down to earth — much like her New York City townhouse, where she’s been living for the last 15 years.

“For years I dreamed about living in a townhouse in the West Village,” the actress told  Architectural Digest. “The first time I walked into this one, I knew this was it—I fell in love… There was enough character left that we could bring the house back to its Greek Revival roots without destroying the soul and texture of the building.”

Julianne and her partner writer/director Bar Freundlich did a year-and-a-half renovation on the house. Now, she and her family (along with kids Cal and Liv) have no regrets of that time. It’s gorgeous!

“I like things that have real personality and authenticity. I hate a knockoff,” she said. “I like things that feel human, things that tell a story. If it’s coming into my home, it has to have real meaning.”
