Kate Winslet revealed a hilarious story to Entertainment Tonight about meeting her husband, Ned Rocknroll, during a house fire while she and her kids, Mia and Joe, were vacationing on Necker Island.

“He was the only dude to have a head torch and a pair of shoes, everyone else left everything behind,” she recounted. “I took a bra and passports and my children. So I married him! I was like, ‘I’ll go for the guy with a head torch!'”

Her latest film costarring Idris Elba, The Mountain Between Us, tells the story of two plan crash survivors who fall in love while trying to stay alive in the wilderness.
