‘The Doctors’ Tell Aaron Carter He Could Possibly Die Mixing Prescription Drugs

Aaron Carter has been through it this month. As we reported earlier this week, his family are taking all precautions out of concern for his health and life. And part of that recovery was appearing on The Doctors, who gave him drug test results.

The singer tested negative for meth and cocaine, but did test positive for several other drugs — including opiates. Aaron said he trust to these drugs to cope with stress and anxiety.

“What scares me about the drug panel is that your sister [Leslie] perished from a drug overdose,” Dr. Travis Stork said. “You have a mixture of benzodiazepines and with opiates, which is how many people accidentally can die. These medications, and I’m speaking now purely from the doctor’s perspective, can be very, very scary.”

“I don’t want to be on that stuff!” Aaron said. “My sister passed away from it. It’s not ok. I don’t take it every day. To be honest with you, it’s not going to be easy. I know that it’s a hard road.”
