Beyonce came back to her hometown of Houston to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, claiming it as a “celebration of survival.”

Michelle Williams and her mom, Tina Knowles, accompanied Queen Bey while she visited with victims at the St. John’s Church. There, she listened to stories and shed tears.

Page Six reports one of the stories she heard was from a family of 16 that fled Houston after the hurricane and escaped their home through a picture window. “The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life,” she told them.

Janet Jackson, Kevin Hart and Jennifer Garner also visited Houston this weekend.
