New Film on Gay Conversion Therapy Stars Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Joe Alwyn
Joe Alwyn is going to star in the upcoming Boy Erased, written and directed by Joel Edgerton.
The movie is a coming-of-age drama based on Garrard Conley’s Boy Erased: A Memoir of Identity, Faith and Family, following 19-year-old Jared, son of a Baptist preacher, who was outed to his parents as gay and must enter a gay conversion therapy program.
The film is a star-studded cast, including Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. Tony winner Cherry Jones is also in the film.
