Richard Simmons recently lost his lawsuit against the National Enquirer and Radar Online after they said he was transitioning into female. Judge Gregory Keosian dismissed the case, arguing it’s not defamatory to say someone is transgender.

Now, Richard is apparently in a pool of legal bills, reports Page Six, that can be upwards of “hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

No word on whether he will appeal the judge’s decision.
