A lot of people know firsthand what it’s like to “start over” in their lives after building a family and founding a relationship for so many years. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are no exception.

As Page Six points out, Brad didn’t exactly speak of his single life highly in his much-publicized interview with GQ. And while promoting her film on Sunday Telegraph, Angelina said, “I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”

On being single, she said: “This is the first time I have done this for a long time. It’s not easy. I am a little shy this time, because I am not as strong inside as I have been in the past.”
