Those in Texas who were looking forward to auditioning for the latest American Idol reboot now have to travel to Louisiana or apply online, thanks to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

The show announced today that their Idol bus was scheduled to arrive on Houston on Saturday, and San Antonio on Monday — but both have been called off. “The safety of the community is of the utmost importance and our thoughts go out to all of those affected,” read a statement from the show’s producers.

The hurricane has brought over 11 trillion gallons of rain.
