Obviously, everyone is a Denzel Washington fan right? Well the A-list actor is coming back to Broadway in The Iceman Cometh for a 14-week run directed by George C. Wolfe.

The production is set to start on March 22 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

“I’m very excited to come back to Broadway in this great play and to be working on it with George Wolfe,” Denzel said to the NY Post. 

The role of Hickey, which Denzel will play, is one of theater’s most complex roles. Jason Robards, James Earl Jones, Kevin Spacey and Nathan Lane all have played him on stage.

Denzel has been on Broadway several times, including in Julius Caesar, Fences, and A Raisin in the Sun, which shattered records.
