Thousands of Protesters Rally Outside Trump Tower for Donald’s Return to NYC

President Donald Trump wasn’t exactly welcomed to New York City with flowers and tears. When he came back to Trump Tower on Monday, he was met with thousands of angry protestors.

The people were angry about last week’s Charlottesville violent protests, which resulted in a Nazi driving his car into the crowd, killing a woman named Heather Hayer.

Trump’s statement was thought to be unempathic and refusing to call out racism.

While thousands of protestors rallied around Trump Tower, another group demonstrated a mock “die-in” and funeral for American values. People chanted, “No KKK! No Racist U.S.A.! F— Trump!”

Protesters gathered outside of Trump Tower, holding signs that read “White Silence Equals Death,” as well as swastikas with a red line running through it to denounce the Nazi party.

Trump rebaked on Monday about the hight stock market, then mentioned the violence in Charlottesville by saying not acknowledging his initial response that blamed “many sides” for the violence, but simply said: “As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence.”
