The Pantone Color Institute, the global color authority, announced that there is going to be a custom color of purple to honor Prince — who was commonly referred to as “The Purple One” by fans.

“The color purple was synonymous with who Prince was and will always be. This is an incredible way for his legacy to live on forever,” said Troy Carter, Entertainment Advisor to Prince’s estate in a press release.

Pantone says that the official shade—which will be named after his unpronounceable “Love Symbol #2”—was inspired by Prince’s custom-made Yamaha purple piano.
