‘My Favorite Year’ Actor Joe Bologna Dies at 82

Actor, playwright, and screenwriter Joseph Bologna has died. He is most known for appearing in the 1982 classic My Favorite Year.

He died of pancreatic cancer Sunday morning in Duarte, Calif.

Joe received an Oscar nomination for his work on Lovers and Other Strangers, from the Broadway play he wrote in 1968. He collaborated frequently with his wife Renee Taylor.

Together, he and Renee wrote 22 plays, including It Had to Be You, Bermuda Avenue Triangle and If You Ever Leave Me I’m Going With You!
