After a memo was leaked that Steve Harvey sent to his staff calling on them to not approach him, or enter his dressing room, without consent (among other demands), the host was extremely impacted and felt very guilty afterwards.

Now, he’s said he learned two things after the experience: he can’t write, and he should never write. That’s what he said in a TV Critics’ meeting this week, reports the Associated Press.

The hose called himself a congenial guy, and compared these requests to a parent asking their kids for a few moments alone at the end of the workday.
