The Obamas Respond to Wedding Invitation, Bride’s Daughter FREAKS OUT!

Apparently, now that they’re out of the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama are opening their own mail and sending back replies — how awesome is that!

Bride-to-be Liz Whitlow mailed an invite to the Obamas last March, and was utterly shocked to receive a reply. “My mom deadass sent the Obamas a wedding invitation back in March and just received this in the mail, I’m hollering,” her daughter Brooke announced in a tweet.

“Congratulations on your wedding,” they wrote. “We hope that your marriage is blessed with love, laughter, and happiness and that your bond grows stronger with each passing year. This occasion marks the beginning of a lifelong partnership, and as you embark on this journey, know you have our very best for the many joys and adventures that lie ahead.”

In response to Brooke’s tweet, other users have said that the Obamas have returned their mail as well — from graduation announcements to wedding invites. God bless!
