Lady Gaga is reportedly dodging deposition demands by producer Dr. Luke in his defamation case against Kesha, court papers said.

In 2013, Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexual assault and apparently told Gaga all about it through text message, at one point calling Dr. Luke a serial rapist. Now, Dr. Luke is suing Kesha and wants Lady Gaga to turn over the texts.

When Dr. Luke subpoenaed the messages from Gaga, she replied with a “heavily-redacted, four page spreadsheet of the text messages,” his lawyer said. “[Gaga] has refused to remove the redactions, claiming that the redacted materials are irrelevant and address unspecified ‘private matters,’”

His lawyers offered to travel to her in order to do the deposition. “Despite this, Ms. Germanotta’s counsel continues to refuse to provide [him] with a date for her deposition and claims that Ms. Germanotta cannot appear for a deposition because she is commencing her world tour on Aug. 1, 2017,” his lawyers say.
