Actor Sam Shepard Dead at Age 73
Oscar-nominated actor Sam Shepard has died at the of 73 due to complications from ALS.
The actor was known for movies such as Black Hawk Down and The Right Stuff, which he received an Oscar nomination for. According to People, he died with his family at his home in Kentucky. Funeral arrangements will remain private.
He is survived by two sisters and three children, two of which he had from his longtime relationship with Jessica Lange.
