You guys remember when John Bernecker, a stuntman for the series, accidentally died during an accident on set? Well, the producers are remembering his life by skipping the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour this weekend to attend his funeral.

“Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to present our panel with The Walking Dead executive producers. The panel conflicts with the funeral services for our stuntman John Bernecker, which Scott Gimple and some of the other EPs will be attending,” a statement read. “Thank you in advance for your understanding.”

John died due to a blunt force trauma caused by injuries from a fall on set.
