Angelina Jolie’s recent cover story with Vanity Fair where she reveals her private crying sessions in the shower over Brad Pitt (she also says she suffers from Bell’s palsy) blew up on Wednesday all over blogs.

However, Page Six reports that the story was leaked a day early likely due to fellow Conde Nast publication Vogue. The story had been embargoed and planned to break on outlets Thursday morning, but instead it popped up on Bravo TV’s relationship blog. People at Bravo, however, didn’t realize it was embargoed.

Sources told Page Six that the “juicy Jolie scoop was somehow leaked via a Vogue ‘preview link’ that went out, or was published, early Wednesday, making the fashion mag’s pickup of the Vanity Fair piece available to outsiders.”

One Condé Nast insider said, “The company wants the magazines to promote each others’ stories that are newsworthy,” but sending out or posting another mag’s piece early, “especially a cover story,” would be “a major screw-up.”
