We always knew Mindy Kaling would be the funniest mom on the planet, and that premonition is one step closer to reality. Turns out, Mindy is pregnant! There is a God!

The 38-year old actress is having her first child, and according to sources at E! News, it was “an unexpected surprise.”

The funny lady told Yahoo! Style in 2015, “I’m going to be fast and loose about kids. I’m going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen.”

Congrats Mindy!
