Britney Spears on the Challenges & Rewards of Being a Single Mom With Two Boys

In a new interview with People magazine, though, she’s opening up about the challenges. My kids come first, always,” she said. “There is nothing more rewarding than being a mom and watching my sons grow into young men. I am so lucky that I get to experience all of life’s adventures with them.”
Her two sons’ father is Kevin Federline, whom she split with in 2007. But co-parenting isn’t always easy.
“The balance between work and my personal life can be a challenge [as a single mom],” she said. “I always do my best to plan my schedule around my family whenever possible. I love watching them play sports and just running around with them. We have a lot of fun together. We love having a beach day together. I have always taught them that beauty comes from within.”
